Seeding is based upon the most recent points standings, first pull of the year will be based upon final points standings from the previous year.  The hook position will be from a random draw, but the heat number will be assigned.  Each heat will be equally weighted. The points will change from pull to pull and a puller could end up in the same heat at every pull if the points so happen to land you there.  If a points tractor is missing from the line up (either pre-register or late entry) a random draw tractor will be put in its place.  If you are a top points tractor you will be put in your respective heat regardless of pre-entry or late sign up.
